Man Shot in Mooretown Neighborhood Left Seriously Injured

On May 23rd, Reporter Timmy Lane was on the scene of a shooting that took place in the 4100 block of Clover Street in the Mooretown Neighborhood in Shreveport. According to police, they received a call at 4:21 PM about the shooting. When they arrived on the scene, they located a male with multiple wounds to his lower midsection which are considered life-threatening. Corporal Marcus Hines confirmed the man was transported by ambulance to Oschner Health Hospital. The victim has been tentatively identified by police, but is identity is not confirmed at this time. Police have received limited information on the suspect and were told a black male approached the victim, shot him multiple times, fled the scene, returned to shoot the man again, and fled once again. This information is unconfirmed by Shreveport Police, as is the identity of the suspect.
