The 3-1-8 is great, especially at growing football players. Multiple guys who once played under the Friday night lights in Shreveport are now projected to be drafted in the 1st Round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Northwest Louisiana can football with the best of them. Calvary’s Greedy Williams, Evangel’s Jerry Tillery, and North Webster’s Devin White; all projected to go in the first round.
LSU’s Devin White was the fastest player at his position at the NFL combine. The 6-foot-1, 240-pound linebacker from North Webster ran an unofficial 4.42 40-yard dash to lead all linebackers at the NFL combine on Sunday morning. White is pegged as a top 10 pick in the NFL draft.
LSU defensive back, Greedy Williams is also going first round. Greedy is good, he’s coming out early to go first round. Williams ranks #4 on CBS’s top 100 NFL draft prospects. The 6-foot-3, 182-pound corner from Calvary Baptist is a lock to go super early in the first round.
Notre Dame defensive tackle Jerry Tillery didn’t post the best number in any drill, in particular. He only managed to finish top five in just about all of them. The 6-foot-6, 295 pound defensive tackle from Notre Dame played his high school football at Evangel Christian.
