The 7th annual Taste of Blanchard cook-off is Saturday January 19 on the campus of Northwood high school, with some events starting on Friday January 18th.
A Taste of Blanchard is an annual community event featuring an arts and craft show, with chili and BBQ cook offs.

Money paid out of 1st-10th place for each meat category. Awards for Grand Champion, Reserve Champion, and top three places in each meat category.
$150 entry fee *make checks payable to Northwood high school. Each cool will be expected to. donate cooked meat to the school for a BBQ plate fundraiser. **limited electricity and water
Categories include: Half chicken, Pork Spare Ribs, & Beef Brisket. Teams must enter all there categories to be considered for Grand Champion.

$1500 payout $100 entry fee
Kids’Q – cooks provide their own bone-in pork chops (2) $25 entry fee; 100% payout of entry fees; January 19th. This is a BCA ancillary event.
