King cake, floats, masks, beads, and fun! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Mardi Gras is the biggest party in Louisiana. It’s an atmosphere like no other and new Mardi Gras event is coming to Shreveport.
If you love Mardi Gras and you LOVE the 80’s you’ll more than LOVE this event.
Mardi Gras lovers from all over can ‘bead’ apart of the first annual “Pardi Gras”, Friday night January 11th at 8 pm in downtown Shreveport. The Silver Lake Ballroom on 900 Market Street will host this first ever event and proceeds from the “Pardi Gras” event will be divided equally and divided to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, Louisiana Association for the Blind, and the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.
Here’s what you can expect; The event will feature multiple venue rooms, each decked out with cool themes and unique entertainment, including the headlining band, “The Molly Ringwalds”.
If you’ve never seen the Molly Ringwalds, I suggest it. They’re an 80’s cover band, and because “Pardi Gras” is an 80’s themed event, guests are encouraged to put on their best colorful, bold, and in some cases, outrageous 80’s attire.
The event will also serve food and provide multiple cash bars.
Tickets for the 1st annual Pardi Gras can be purchased here.
