Thursday night was a first for the Airline Vikings. The lacrosse team, lead by several senior leaders, topped the Loyola Flyers for the first time in school history.

Airline Lacrosse Head Coach Steve Martino was thrilled after the 8-6 win Thursday night, he was also soaked after receiving a Gatorade (or water) bath after his Vikings were able to get past Loyola for the first time in school history. Wanna see it again? Us too. The two teams may meet again in the playoffs. We sure hope so.
