Monroe’s Jesse Butler w/Kron Gracie Jiu Jitsu won the main event against Alexandria’s David Bosnick.

Team 515 from Longview, Texas brought five fighters to AKA 8, and all of them won. Zeke Wilson, Blane Wallace, Ro’ Derricks Walker, Annette Nichols, and Steve Jones.

Other fighters to walk away with wins included: Julian Orozco, Hunter Jones, Jessie Marsalia, Chris Williams, Darren Whitney, Matt Costello, and Gavin Leverich.

The event was broadcast on Flocombat and commentated by Matt “Danger” Schnell, Tyler Moody, and Quentin Henry.

We tip our hat to the team at Bishop Promotions for creating a local fight promotion in Shreveport/Bossier. John and Amber Bishop have created something really cool and we always look forward to covering it.

The next AKA event is August 23. We’ll keep you posted. (unlike the local news stations)
