  • Staff Reporter

The Bossier City Fire Department will kick off its annual school fire safety program on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at Meadowview Elementary School located at 4312 Shed Road.

Every year during the month of October, BCFD’s Fire Prevention Bureau takes its fire safety message to all Bossier elementary schools via a multimedia presentation that includes a puppet show and video presentation.

The Bossier City Fire Department conducts the program in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, which will be observed the week of October 6th. This year’s theme is, “Not every hero wears a cape. Plan and practice your escape.”
