Shreveport is rich with history, but we’re also loaded when it comes to local artists.
If you, or someone you know is a local artist who’d like to get their name out there, check this out.
Artspace Shreveport and Shreveport Regional Arts Council is hosting Critical Mass 6.
CRITICAL MASS 6 is the invitational exhibition welcoming all Northwest Louisiana Visual, Literary, and Performing Artists to exhibit one work of Art that will be reviewed by an established, published, professional Critic who will select one work in each field for an upcoming “SOLO SHOW”. The Critics will provide one-on-one review of each artist’s work, and will provide additional digital portfolio review for each participating artist via a scheduled appointment.
Applications and entries are due: 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 10.
CRITICAL MASS 6 Performing Arts Showcase: Thursday, March 1, 6:00 pm, Central ARTSTATION; Best of Show Award and Review presented Friday, March 2 at ARTSPACE
CRITICAL MASS 6 Visual and Literary Exhibition opens: 5:30 pm, Friday, March 2; Best of Show Awards presented: 7:00 pm, Friday, March 2
Critics’ Review of Visual & Literary Exhibition and Performance, along with Digital Portfolio Review: Saturday, March 3, 9 am – 12:00 noon; by Appointment
