COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: SPD Respond to Call of a Stolen Bike, Officers Purchase Replacement

  • Timmy Lane

Yesterday Officer Zee Natalie was dispatched to a call after someone stole a man’s bicycle. The gentleman you see is deaf and his bicycle was his only form of transportation.

Officers spent that entire day looking for the stolen bicycle, but unfortunately they were unable to locate it. Officer Brent Snedding, Officer Zee Natalie, and Jessica Talley teamed up with others officers. They all contributed funds to purchase him a brand new bike the next day. They also purchased him a lock, bell, and lights, in case he needs to ride at night.

There are still some amazing officers out making a difference in our community. Let’s THANK these officers for going out of their way and outside of their normal job duties to bring good to Shreveport citizens.
