Shreveport — President Donald Trump is planning on being in Shreveport on Nov. 14 -check that- Bossier on Nov. 14. The Forty-Fifth President, along with Air Force 1, will land at Shreveport Regional -check that- Barksdale Air Force Base on Thursday Nov. 14.

The president is coming to to support Republican Eddie Rispone in the Louisiana governor’s race, this according to Congressman Mike Johnson’s social media accounts. The rally will be at the Bossier Century Link Center.

Johnson says via social media that he has been working with Trump to schedule the rally for weeks.

Trump is aiming to help Eddie Rispone try to unseat Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards in the Nov. 16 runoff election.

It will be Trump’s third rally in Louisiana during the governor’s campaign. He came to Lake Charles on the eve of the Oct. 12 primary election, he was at the Monroe Civic Center Nov. 6

Trump’s Shreveport-Bossier rally will be held in the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City. If you’d like to be inside the building on Thursday night at 7 – here’s some advice- get there about 12 hours earlier, and get in line.

Expect traffic delays on Nov. 14 around Barksdale and around the Century Link Center.

While in Northwest Louisiana, hopefully President Trump will have the chance to meet some movers-n-shakers in the Shreveport-Bossier area, like RSHV Reporter Timmy Lane. If anyone in the area lands an interview with the president, it’d be Timmy Lane.
