Drew Brees welcomes Zion Williamson to New Orleans with a gift

"Let's Dance"

Let the good times dunk! Zion Williamson is now a member of the Pelicans after being picked No. 1 overall by the team in last week’s NBA Draft.

He’s getting settled in his new home, too, as he’s in New Orleans where fans can’t wait for the Zion-era to officially begin. The former Duke star was surprised by New Orleans Saints legend Drew Brees, who had a special gift waiting for Zion in the place where he’s staying.

The quarterback had one of his jerseys framed and told Zion in a note: “Zion, welcome to the family. Let’s dance.” Let’s dance is a phrase Zion used right after being drafted and could become a rallying cry for the Pelicans.
