Two minutes before going into the 7 o’clock hour, 20 Shreveport Fire Department units responded to the scene of a vehicle in the water. It happened on Clyde Fant Parkway, located near Sci Port Discovery Center.

Authorities say a woman was driving her car down Clyde Fant Parkway, then she left the roadway and drove into the river. There is no clear reason why the woman did this. SFD just recovered her vehicle and her body. Shreveport Police Department and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted with this major accident.
