His grandfather J.T. Curtis is a football legend having won more high school football games than any other active high school football coach in the United States.

On Monday night John Curtis Christian School posted this to Facebook; “Congratulations to our Patriot, Jeffrey Curtis, and to the entire Eastbank Little League for making the Southwest Regional Championship game!! One win away from the Little League World Series in Williamsport!” (On Monday night, Team Louisiana from River Ridge Eastbank scored 6, Texas West from Midland Northern scored 5. Now Louisiana is moving onto the final. )

The Louisiana (River Ridge Eastbank) team will face the winner of Tuesday’s Semifinal: Texas West (Midland Northern) vs. Oklahoma (Tulsa National), 6 p.m., ESPN

Team Louisiana (River Ridge Eastbank) will play the winner in the final. That game is Wednesday at noon, ESPN.

Good luck boys!

The Little League World Series is in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Aug. 15-25.

It’s something we’ll talk to J.T. Curtis about next month. See John Curtis play at the Battle on the Border Saturday September 14 in Shreveport.
