IHOP hinting a big change is coming

B is for buzz: IHOP teases fans with ‘IHOB’ tweet.

IHOP said in a tweet Wednesday that it would be “flippin’” the last letter of its name — making a “p” that has long denoted its signature pancakes into a “b” — and turning the 60-year-old brand into IHOb.

The move is designed to build buzz around a company announcement planned for June 11.

Until then, the internet is speculating what the “b” could stand for — breakfast, burgers, biscuits?
