RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech baseball team will begin preparations for the 2020 season with the opening of the fall practice scheduled for Friday.
The Bulldogs will take part in weekly practices and intrasquad scrimmages at the Ruston High School baseball field throughout the fall, leading up to the Fall World Series the weekend of November 7-10. All practices and intrasquad games are free and open to the public.
This weekend, the team’s first practice will begin Friday at 2:30 p.m. with a scrimmage at 4 p.m. Fans can also watch the Bulldogs on Saturday at their 10:30 a.m. practice and 12 p.m. scrimmage or swing by on Sunday for a 2 p.m. practice followed by a scrimmage at 3:00 p.m.
Tech will play one fall game against outside competition when it travels to Monroe on November 3 to square off with ULM. The matchup with the Warhawks will also serve as both teams’ showcase for pro scouts.
Times for the Fall World Series and scrimmage against ULM will be announced at a later date.
