Here’s what on tap for Friday night;
Dan Smalley and his band are coming in from Nashville to play their first Homecoming Show since moving away a year ago. The show will take place at Strange Brew Friday night at 9. Event page click here.

Over at The Port Grill, magic is sure to amaze. John Mott started his career as a magician over 30 years ago doing children’s magic. His love and interest in magic has led him into becoming a professional magician and mentalist showcasing both his close-up and stage magic skills. John has performed close-up magic in restaurants in Illinois and Florida as well as festivals, wedding receptions, special events, college groups, corporate events, and special interest groups. With an advanced degree in Applied Behavioral Science, John Mott has strong credentials in understanding behavior and cognitive thinking. Understanding psychology is paramount in providing challenging magic and Mentalism.
John has been fortunate to learn from some of the greatest magicians and mentalists in the world including Jeff McBride, Ross Johnson, Eugene Burger, Michael Ammar, Johnny Ace Palmer, Richard Osterlind, and Banachek. John has taught Magic and Mentalism at Sarasota County Technical Institute, lectured at national magic conventions and took 3rd place in the Florida State Magicians competition.

Horseshoe Casino Riverdome will host American Kombat Alliance Rite of Passage 4. See professional and amateur MMA Fights including several fighters from our area. Fights start at 7 but the doors open at 6.
