SHREVEPORT, LA. – The Louisiana Family Forum (LFF) has announced that it has awarded State Senator John Milkovich its Outstanding Family Advocate Award, as well as its Life and Liberty Award, for the 4th Consecutive Year. LFF awarded Senator Milkovich awarded the Outstanding Family Advocate Award for his 100% Pro-Family Voting Record in 2019. LFF awarded Senator Milkovich its Life and Liberty Award because he “authored and successfully passed key legislation that promotes life and liberty,” in 2019. Specifically, Senator Milkovich was awarded the Life and Liberty Award because he introduced and helped pass Louisiana’s Fetal Heart Beat Bill in 2019, which makes it illegal to abort an unborn baby after a fetal heart beat is medically detected. The Fetal Heart Beat Bill is one of the strongest Pro-Life, anti Abortion measures enacted in America in 2019.
2019 marks the 4th year in a row that Louisiana Family Forum (LFF) has awarded Senator Milkovich both the Outstanding Family Advocate and the Life and Liberty Award. LFF previously awarded Senator Milkovich both the Outstanding Family Advocate Award and the Life and Liberty Award in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Louisiana Family Forum is a Ministry Organization, headed by Dr. Gene Mills, which advocates for the defense of the unborn, traditional marriage, Christian values, the application of biblical principles in public life, and education that reflects the beliefs of Louisianans.
Stated Senator Milkovich, “To God goes the Glory, and the credit to the heroic people of Senate District 38, for these achievements. The people of this District live out their values in real time every day, teaching their children, volunteering in their Churches, supporting their Pastors, caring for ailing parents and grandparents, instilling their values in the next generation. I believe Northwest Louisiana has some of the greatest Pastoral Leadership anywhere in America.”
“We are grateful for the dedicated and integrous efforts of the Louisiana Family Forum to fight for the preservation of our Values in the Culture of Louisiana. In so doing, LFF is not only making a difference in Louisiana. They are sending a message to the rest of America.”
