The Revel returns this weekend! From amazing art to delicious food, the nine-day Red River Revel offers outstanding entertainment and experiences to create incredible memories.

Lots of fun, music, food, people, and did i mention fun?

General Admission: Monday – Thursday: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday: 11 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Every Day: Military & First Respondents with Valid ID and Children 12 & under*

Hours: Saturdays, 9/28 and 10/5 – 11am – 10pm
Sundays, 9/29 & 10/6 – 11am – 7pm
Mon – Wed, 9/30-10/2 – 5pm – 9pm
Thurs – Fri, 10/3 & 10/4 – 11am – 10pm COME HAVE LUNCH AT THE REVEL!!!

Children Area Hours

Saturdays, 9/28 and 10/5 – 11am – 9pm (an hour earlier than Revel closes)
Sundays, 9/29 & 10/6 – 11am – 7pm (Same as Revel hours)
Mon – Fri, 9/30 – 10/4 – 5pm – 9pm (an hour earlier than Revel closes; opens at 5pm all weekdays)
**Volunteer-run activities include Shriners, Brookshire’s, Library Land, Obstacle Course, Bounce Houses, Mock Dig, Stage, & Artist for a Day/Pumpkin Painting (Activities are located in or adjacent to the Depot Pavilion; list subject to change)

Red River Revel is one of Louisiana’s oldest, largest, and most celebrated festivals. Spanning nine days and showcasing local and national visual and performing artists, the Revel is an award-winning festival each fall.

Joel Rodgers

Joel Rodgers joined RSHV News 1 in January 2018 as a reporter/journalist. Prior to joining our team, Joel spent the previous 5 years as a morning show reporter, entertainment reporter, and sports reporter for a local television station. At 6’5”, he's the tallest reporter in the history of Shreveport, but it’s more than just his height that makes this Shreveport native stand out. His editing skills combined with his love for storytelling makes for a creative and talented addition to the RSHV News 1 team. After attending and graduating from Evangel Christian Academy, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern State University. Joel is very active in the Shreveport community having won several competitions in recent years. In 2017, he danced his way to victory in the annual Susan G. Komen event, “Dancing for the Cure." He’s also won the “Mudbug Madness” Crawfish eating contest in back-to-back years and was named the top celebrity chef at the “Louisiana Food Prize” cooking competition.
