Caddo Parish Deputies are now investigating a shooting that left a male injured. It happened around 3:39 p.m., in the Blanchard Mobile Villa.

According to Deputies a 16 year-old boy was in the car with his brother. Somehow the brother ended up getting shot by his 16 year-old brother. The bullet hit him in his leg, then came out in his foot.

Deputies say the 16 year-old took off running, after he shot him. Later his mother was able to talk him into coming to talk with detectives. Deputies say the shooting may be accidental, but they are unsure at this moment.

The brother of the 16 year-old is expected to be okay.
