SHOOTING IN THE SUNSET ACRES NEIGHBORHOOD, LEAVING A MAN INJURED

Shreveport Police are investigating a shooting that left a man hospitalized. It happened around 4:37 p.m. in the 3100 block of Lancaster Street, located in the Sunset Acres neighborhood.

According to police, someone came outside to find a man shot. He suffered a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to Oschner Health Hospital by Emergency Medical Service. His injuries are described as possible life-threatening injuries.
