Texas Rangers to Hold 2019 Futures Camp in Frisco Beginning Sept. 22

Arlington, Texas—The 2019 Texas Rangers Futures Camp will take place at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco from Sunday, September 22-Sunday, October 6.

The camp will be comprised of approximately 40 players, who will hold workouts in Frisco and will play a series of games against four-year universities and junior colleges located in Texas. Corey Ragsdale and Matt Hagen, who managed Down East and Hickory respectively in 2019, will oversee the Texas Futures Camp.

 That schedule will include two games versus 2019 NCAA Division I Tournament participants at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Thursday, September 26 against Dallas Baptist University and Tuesday, October 1 versus TCU. The DBU game will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the Rangers-Boston Red Sox contest, a 1:05 p.m. start. The Rangers Instructional Leaguers will play TCU at 6:00 p.m. on October 1. Admission and parking to both games is free of charge. Concessions will be available.
