I, TONYA is coming to Shreveport

  • Joel Rodgers

The 2018 Winter Olympics is only weeks away, and many are gearing to cheer on team USA.

The Robinson Film Center in downtown Shreveport is going for gold by bringing in a popular movie that’s skating across the country, but here in Shreveport/Bossier, the Robinson is the only place to see it.

This popped up on the RFC’s Facebook page yesterday;

“I, TONYA is coming soon to RFC, and we’re the only place you can enjoy The Kneecap … it’s like a nightcap, but sweeter … and like a certain ice princess, it can bring you to your knees. Keep checking our website for an opening date!”

I, Tonya is the story of competitive ice skater Tonya Harding as she rises amongst the ranks at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, but her future in the activity is thrown into doubt when her ex-husband intervenes.

Follow the Robinson Film Center on Facebook; https://www.facebook.com/robinsonfilmcenter/

We’ll have more details on I, Tonya once they become available.
