  • Joel Rodgers

The RSHV Game of the Week saw the Airline Vikings defeat the Haughton Buccaneers 22-19.

Coming into the game Haughton was undefeated and untested, that ended with the 3 point loss to the now 5-1 Airline Vikings. Haughton is also now 5-1, but Airline is 3-0 in district and control their own destiny.

After the game Airline quarterback Alex Garcia, Head Coach Bo Meeks, and defensive studs Brandon and Brian Marshall spoke about the huge win.

They also spoke about Daniel Smith’s huge touchdown to take the lead late in the game.

Coach Meeks says is proud of his team, the Marshall twins talk about shutting down Haughton’s high powered offense, and Alex Garcia says Airline wants district, and that he’s getting Whataburger to celebrate the win.

Enjoy it Airline. Great game.
